We've been getting a lot of questions about the new season lately, and finally, after productive discussions with the dev team, we've got some fresh news to share!
- Big Adjustments: The new season brings major changes to equipment and classes, which will be core to future seasons. More details will be shared in an official announcement, but for now, it's a good idea to stock up on general resources like Gems, Chest Keys, and Tablet of Wishes.
- Fatebound effects: Fatebound effects will no longer be tied to specific equipment. You'll be able to swap Fatebound effects without farming for the perfect gear.
- Valkyrie's Proving Ranks: Carnelian rank will now be tied to fixed floors, skipping floors won’t cost Resurrection Coins, and enemies will not receive any additional buffs. Tower climbing will feel less stressful.
- Boss Appearances: The fixed boss spawn times are gone! Each dungeon will now have a fixed boss, and the rest will appear in the Trial of Embers, so no more waiting around for the Black Archknight!

Q: Can we remove the damage cap for ailments?
A: In the new season, all damage caps, including for ailments, will be lifted.
Q: After floor 300, there are only stat points. Could there be more rewards?
A: We've added more gear and materials to Proving Grounds drops. Higher floors will give you tons of loot, making the climb more rewarding.
Q: Starting fresh every season is a bit much. Can leveling be faster?
A: Yes, we've sped up early leveling to reduce the grind. You'll notice the improvements in the new season.
Q: Resurrection Coins are hard to come by in later tower climbs. Any chance to reduce their usage?
A: Good news! Skipping floors will no longer cost Resurrection Coins.
Q: Can we get more storage space for items?
A: In the new season, various materials will have dedicated storage and won’t take up your Backpack & Storage slots.
Q: The current critical hit rate system in the game feels a bit off. Can this be adjusted?
A: We’ve tweaked combat formulas and character stats. It’ll be easier to reach your desired stats now.
Other Optimizations Based on Your Suggestions:
- Increase the damage display cap for the Scarecrow: Though this won't be ready at the start of the new season, we're working on it for a later update (In SS0).
- Adjustable Skill Transparency: This is in the pipeline, and we're aiming to roll it out with the new season.
- Suggestions for the Bangle Weapon System: The changes to the equipment system will address some of these. Stay tuned for more details.
- Drop Encyclopedia: We're adding equipment and Fatebound effects encyclopedias in the new season, so it’ll be easier to track your loot.
- Buff Bar: We're streamlining the buff bar to only display time-sensitive buffs, making it much cleaner.
