Season System Introduction: Embark on a Diverse Adventure
Release time: 2023-12-29
Greetings! I'm the Mayor of Chillstead Village, cough cough, and now I'll be introducing the Season System of Soul Knight Prequel.
Soul Knight Prequel will be regularly updated in accordance with the seasons. Each season brings new content, gameplay, and events for you to experience. Even if you choose to play with a previously selected class in the new season, you'll feel the Mystraea in a different light, embarking on a "fresh and exciting" adventure. Additionally, in the new season, we'll address and optimize certain issues from the previous season, ensuring a more enjoyable monster-slaying adventure for all.
Furthermore, each season will feature collectible memorabilia for all you collectors out there. Keep an eye out for those!
Upon entering the game, you can find relevant information about the Season System on the new character creation interface.
With the introduction of the Season System, new concepts such as seasonal characters, non-seasonal characters, season-based equipment, and non-season-based equipment have emerged (you can refer to the detailed infographic at the end for explanations about seasonal and non-seasonal). To make things crystal clear, I will simplify "non-seasonal characters" as "permanent characters" and "non-season-based equipment" as "permanent equipment" for your convenience.
Aaron: Mayor, will characters created in previous seasons be wiped after the new season starts? Will the equipment and items acquired in previous seasons be reset or disappear?
Mayor: No, after the new season starts, characters created in previous seasons will not be wiped, and the equipment and items acquired will not be reset or disappear. When the season begins, 4 new character slots will be added for our players to create new characters.
Aaron: What happens to Valkyrie Plume, Hephaestite, Lydite, and Card Collection obtained in previous seasons when the new season starts?
Mayor: They will be consolidated at the end of the season. For example, 1 Valkyrie Plume will be transformed into 1 Permanent Plume, consolidated into the Permanent Plume category.
Aaron: Can seasonal characters and permanent characters share storage space?
Mayor: Yes, players can share season-based equipment with permanent characters through the Storage.
Aaron: Regarding equipment, what are the differences between seasonal characters and permanent characters?
Mayor: Permanent characters can wear permanent equipment without any issues, and the same goes for season-based equipment. Seasonal characters can freely wear season-based equipment without a hitch. However, if a seasonal character wears non-season-based equipment, the base stats of the equipment will be halved. But worry not—the modifiers and Fatebound effects remain unchanged. Now, let me showcase my cherished amor!
Aaron: When it comes to seasonal content, what distinguishes seasonal characters from permanent characters?
Mayor: Seasonal characters get to experience all the content of the current season, but permanent characters can experience only part of the current season. After the season concludes, the full content of the current season will be accessible to permanent characters as well.
