Eidolon System Introduction
Release time: 2024-07-17
About Eidolons
The Eidolon System is a new feature introduced in the S3: Submertide. It enhances the character's base stats such as Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Attack Power, and Magic Power. Some Eidolons also possess unique talents that provide significant boosts.
After clearing the Bulrush Marshes, you can unlock the Eidolon System by interacting with the new NPC, Ferrallus. Eidolons obtained on the same account are shared and can be used by different characters under the same account.
Basic Information about Eidolons
Types and Rarities
Eidolons are categorized into three types: Weapon, Armor, and Accessory. Each type provides different stat boosts. Higher rarity Eidolons offer greater benefits but are harder to obtain and more expensive to develop. Only one Eidolon of each type can be equipped at a time, and unequipped Eidolons do not provide any benefits.
Stat Boosts Provided by Eidolons
Each Eidolon provides a different combination of base stats. The higher the level of the Eidolon, the more base stats it provides.
Eidolon Talents
Eidolon talents are divided into Basic, Advanced, and Ultimate talents:
- Basic Talents: Unlocked when the Eidolon is acquired and cannot be upgraded.
- Advanced Talents: Unlocked when the Eidolon reaches level 30 and cannot be upgraded.
- Ultimate Talents: Provide powerful unique bonuses. They are unlocked when the Eidolon reaches the M tier. For each tier increase, the Ultimate Talent gains one level, up to a maximum of level 4.
With the launch of the S3, the following Eidolons will be available in the game:
Leveling Up
Each Eidolon has its own level, with a maximum level of 60 starting from S3. Eidolic Calibrum is required to level up Eidolons, obtainable by defeating bosses or other monsters in any mainline dungeons, except Projection Playground, Terminus Ixion: Tower Top, and Proving Grounds.
Additionally, Trials of Embers and special stages from Daily Invitations do not drop Eidolic Calibrum. Besides mainline stages, you can earn Eidolic Calibrum by completing daily quests in the new Affixed gameplay mode, with future events also offering opportunities to collect it.
Eidolic Calibrum comes in three colors: Green, Blue, and Violet, each providing different amounts of EXP.
Ranking Up
Eidolons start at No Tier and can be ranked up to M, G, S, and U tiers.
To rank up an Eidolon, you need Eidolic Signum, Exclusive Eidolic Motes, or Universal Eidolic Motes. Upgrading from No Tier to M tier requires 100 Eidolic Signums and 1 Exclusive or Universal Eidolic Mote (Universal Eidolic Motes must match the Eidolon's rarity). As the tier increases, more Eidolic Signums are needed, but the number of Exclusive or Universal Eidolic Motes remains the same.
Exclusive Eidolic Motes are used first for ranking up. If you do not have enough, Universal Eidolic Motes will be used instead.
